Route changes

Waste truck route changes improve delivery reliability and reduce emissions
The purpose of optimizing the routes of our waste trucks is to improve our delivery reliability and reduce carbon dioxide emissions from waste transportation. During the transition phase of the route change, your waste container may be emptied at a shorter or longer interval than usual. Please note that the planned emptying day may vary during the transition phase. The route change does not require any action from you. If the change in the emptying day or week extends the emptying interval too long, we will perform a balancing run. The balancing run does not incur any additional costs for you.

Frequently asked questions
The route change does not require any action from our customers. If the change in the emptying day or week extends the emptying interval too long, we will perform a balancing run on our own initiative. Balancing runs do not incur additional costs for our customers.
Emptying routes are always planned in a way that maximizes our delivery reliability and minimizes environmental damage.
Planning a new route is a long process. In the first few weeks, the pick-up date may differ from the final emptying date. It may take a few weeks to become accustomed to the new route. Our goal is to catch up with the schedule as quickly as possible and we apologize in advance if there are any delays in emptying.
